What I learned from this tree today

It does not matter how many ways we choose, how many questions we make and how many attempts to get answers… There are innumerable branches. I decide for one way and, after a while, I realize that all branches lead to dead-ends. I go back and try another way. The same happens. Again and again. Over time, the branches change their shape and new ones grow. I get confused and finally admit that I’m lost trying to grasp the right way. Like a little baby moving desperately its legs and arms when dreaming that it is falling in the abysm. I guess the grasping is exactly what makes me suffer. I guess it comes out of fear of losing something. Losing what? Losing control over what is familiar/known, even if it is being caught in a golden cage. This tree showed me that the Way is beyond form, beyond her trunk, branches and leafs. The way is that which connects her to the whole, which makes her grow, blossom, generate fruits, die and reborn again and again. I believe the Way is present in each one of us and is only visible if we surrender to the unknown. When we are ready to let our identities die and take whatever form is called upon in the present moment.
